Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia (TMMWV), located in Buffalo, is Toyota’s only North American plant to produce engines, transmissions and hybrid transaxles – all under one roof. Our products are built for the Toyota Avalon, Camry, Corolla, Highlander, RAV4, Sienna and Lexus ES 350 and RX 350.
TMMWV has grown from a team of 300 to nearly 2,000 employees today. Over the past 25 years, it has expanded nine times.
Toyota’s Technician Training & Education Network (T-TEN) is an industry leading automotive technician training program. As a partnership between Toyota, community colleges, vocational schools and Toyota and Lexus dealerships, T-TEN helps develop and place thousands of factory certified technicians in challenging, rewarding and well-paid positions in our dealerships across the country.
The Advanced Manufacturing Technician (AMT) program is a two year industrial degree that trains students of all ages and backgrounds—from recent high school graduates, to those interested in transitioning into manufacturing, to longtime manufacturing employees wanting to advance their career.
The program focuses on teaching technical qualifications in advanced manufacturing, as well as helping students develop professional skills and a deeper understanding of the manufacturing industry.
